“One rainy night in downtown St. Louis, I was waiting at the crosswalk, and a car zoomed by. Something colorful and shiny caught my eye, a pool of water rippled with the reflection of the stoplights hanging above. I noticed an interplay of colors, red, yellow and green intermingling in a large black puddle with bright lights. The movement of water resulted in a rainbow of colors spreading out into an array of kaleidoscope designs from the bright city lights. It was fascinating to watch.”
